uyss esos links no los ten?a yo !

A?adir? esta noche el modelo a la lista de modelos f3f en el blog.

La verdad que el modelo en cuesti?n tiene una pinta envidiable. Me encantan cuando vienen con todos los acabaditos casi terminados. Lo de la bancada de los servos es un detalle, viene con las transmisiones de cola instaladas e incluso el cierre de la cabina. A ver si hay suerte y lo vemos en alguna prueba.

Bancada/tubo de lastre instalados.

Alguien que lo tuvo en las manos me ha comentado que NO le molan los posicionadores del ala y es curioso que en las fotos de P.Rondel, estos posicionadores NO VIENEN PUESTOS y hay que colocarselos en casita... :-\ :-[

Pero hay que reconocer que el avion es bonito y esta bien hecho.

Ah, el precio que comente incluia lastres y fundas... :D

A mi me gustan los morros largos porque hay que meterles poco plomo...

No imaginais lo que me costo meterle mas de 200 gramos de plomo en el morro del RaceM... Si tuviera 3 cm mas serian menos 100 gramos...

En este momento yo tampoco tengo, aparte los resultados de algunas ventas.  Pero si acabo vendiendo uno de los Victor o uno de los RaceM me pido un Extreme.

O si me toca el Euromillon, me compro una docena, claro.

I following the link on the Extreme video and come to this forum. Greeting to everyone  :D

The plane in the video is mine and I took the video. If you check the date I posted the video it was back to July, 2008. The Extreme in the video clip is a test version and at that time it had not yet been given a name. Since the model came from the same builder of the DEMO and so we called it "New Demo".

Hi CM !!

What a surprise you found this little corner  !! Here people are very interested in the new coming f3f models, but you know European pilots are quite demmanding , and the "Extreme" likes a lot around here.

I heard you have a couple of them, maybe you can assist us about the version (glass, carbon) which is more suitable for slope f3f. I guess you have flown some differnt models, have you compare it with others??

I think the internet is one of the big inventions in the last century. It brings people together. (And so is the online translation :D)

The Extreme has a thin profile, and a small camber too. The bottom part of the wing is nearly flat, with only some small camber at the tailing edge around the wing root. Aileron and flap hinges are on the bottom side too. I think it is designed for full lamination flow to minimize the drag as much as possible. And for this it is successful because many pilots here who have flown it have a common impression: it has very low drag. The price for this is the maximum lift it can generate. The thermal flap setting, ballast and snap flap settings are quite critical because if you made a wrong decision, it cannot climb fast in the first 30 seconds. Too small the snap flap it will stall in a hard pull and too much it will add extra drag. I think this plane flies best when the wind speed is over 6m/s. Below this it is very much depends on the thermal condition. For me I would prepare a DEMO for the calm condition (3m/s).

I also want to know if the fibre glass version has better performace in getting height in light wind (for its lighter wings). I did ordered one but probably due to some misunderstanding a carbon Extreme was made. Need to wait for the next batch!!

I have no hesitation in recommanding this model. But as you said there are many good models in the market too. So the best thing is to get one and try if it fits your flying style.  ;D ;D ;D

El Extreme tiene un perfil muy fino y con poco camber. El intrados del ala es casi plan, solo con algun camber en el borde de fuga (???).

Alerones y flaps son articulados en el intrados. Pienso que es para minimizar el arrastre. Y debe resultar, por muchos de los pilotos que lo volaron tienen la misma impressions. Tiene muy poca resistencia al aire.

El precio para esto es la sostentacion maxima que genera. Los ajustes de flaps, lastres e snap flap  son criticos. porque si tomas una decision mala no subira casi nada en los 30 segundos de subida. El snap flap si es de menos hace perdidas en giros apretados y si es de mas frena mucho.  Pienso que este velero es mejor quando el viento es de mas de 6m/s. Por debajo desto depiende mucho de termicas. Para mi prepararia un Demo para condiciones flojas (3 m/s).

Tambien quiero saber si la version de fibra tiene mejor performance subiendo com poco viento, al ser mas ligera. Yo pedi uno de fibra pero me lo enviaron en carbono. Tengo que esperar por el proximo envio.

No tengo hesitacion en recomendar este velero.

Y la proxima vez, prueba babelfish para la traducion.

A mi me parece muy significativa la evaluacion que hace del extreme.

Creo que se debe buscar un velero facil de poner a punto y facil de volar si no eres un gran experto o no piensas tenerlo mucho tiempo ( una temporadita).
